Announcement: Potential UPS Strike Guidance

With the potential UPS strike effective August 1, we are providing the following guidance to any account using Amazon’s UPS rates and shipping for FBA, Unsellable FBM or FBM:

  • FBA Small Parcel Shipments: Your Planner will be recommending the use of either LTL or FedEx or USPS using your your billing account in place of your Amazon account. The strike will impact both pickups and final delivery. Therefore we are recommending to proactively minimize use of UPS Ground services effective immediately.

  • Unsellable FBM Shipments: If Commerce Canal is handling your returns processing and reselling your unsellable product, we stopped using UPS last week as a precautionary measure. All shipments are now being processed via USPS for both domestic and international shipment.

  • FBM Shipments: We recommend to proactively minimize use of UPS Ground services effective immediately.

Please contact your Planner, Brand Manager or help@commercecanal.com if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Commerce Canal Team

Note: There is no current impact to Walmart and WFS as the preferred provider used is FedEx.
