Client Letters: Prime Day Specifics For Vendor Central

Prime Day planning has officially started for Vendor Central brands. Amazon has yet to announce the official dates for Prime Day but has announced the deal submission deadlines for Vendor Central. This year's Prime will feature 3 main self-service deals:

  1. Lightning Deals: April 28, 2023 11:59pm (PDT) Submission Deadline

A type of price discount promotion that is featured for several hours as a flash sale on the Amazon Deals page. Lightning Deals often display more prominently on the Deals page than Best Deals but for a shorter duration of time.

You can only include one product per Lightning Deal and we encourage you to include all sizes and colors of that product.

Minimum 20% discount off the lowest price in the trailing 30 days and must match or beat the lowest price year to date.

2. Prime Member Coupons: April 28, 2023 11:59pm (PDT) Submission Deadline

A type of price discount promotion offered on a single product or set of products.

Your coupons will be advertised on the Coupons home page, product detail page, and the Deals Page.

Minimum 20% discount off current price and must be targeted to Prime members.

3. Price Discounts: At least 24 hours in advance

A promotional campaign that can be utilized during Prime Day to fuel demand while we are driving a high level of traffic to our site.

You are responsible for the per-unit funding for the units of the promotional product(s) sold during the campaign.
