Walmart Marketplace BETA: Getting to Know Your “Daily Report Card”

We have worked with Walmart to re-engineer the Walmart Marketplace email to provide a more comprehensive overview of your Walmart Marketplace account. If you are interested in the BETA, please let us know with a simple reply to this email.

In order to better understand the metrics shown in your Daily Report Card, we have put together the following reference sheet:

Time of distribution: Every morning before 8am EST as sales are posted for prior day (ends at 12am PST)

Reporting Channel: Walmart Marketplace

Reporting Countries: United States

Reporting Currency: All currencies are in United States Dollars

Reporting Comparable (Comp) Sales: All comps are to the exact day (not date) of the comparison period. Example: January 1, 2023 was a Sunday but January 1, 2022 was a first Saturday. Because we provide comps on the day, we took compared the January 1, 2023 sales (Sunday) to January 2, 2022 (Sunday).

Additionally, here is the glossary of terms used:

Comparable (Comp) Sales - How sales for a particular marketplace and time period compare to a previous time period.

Conversion: The percentage of views to product pages that convert to a sale for the applicable period of time and channel.

Featured Offer: The percentage of offers in-stock with the buy box for the applicable period of time and channel.

Months of Supply: The total months of supply on-hand available for sale based on the trailing 30 days of sales. Example: 100,000 units on-hand available for sale with 50,000 units sold in the last 30 days would be 2 months of supply or 100,000/50,000.

Sales: Total retail sales for the applicable period of time and channel.

Sessions: Total number of customer visits to product pages for the applicable period of time and channel. Please note that if a customer visits multiple pages within 24 hours, the session is counted as 1 session.

Units: Total units sold for the applicable period of time and channel.
